GLOBAL APPROVAL for category B
As mentioned below, the global homologation for more vehicles to the IRS was not long in coming. Therefore, we can boast of having another homologation on the Volkswagen Transporter and Mercedes Sprinter ambulance, this time for category B.

GLOBAL APPROVAL
We are pleased to announce that on 31st August 2012 we completed all the tests and obtained the global homologation to ambulances Class A2 on chassis Volkswagen T5.
We are the first and so far the only company that owns this approval in the Czech Republic. Based on this certification we can issue the COC sheet that is acceptable throughout the EU. The homologation of further vehicles and categories will follow soon.

Sicar attended the Arab Health Fair in Dubai
In January 2011 we have participated for second year as an exhibitor at the international medical fair in Dubai. Together with other Czech companies, associated in Association of Medical Equipment Manufacturers, there was presented – with a support of Czech Trade – an interesting stand of Czech manufacturers. We found that we are not without chance in the market of Emirates and surrounding countries. Although the American GMC ambulances are dominant in this market, there is also an interest in MB Sprinter and VW. We shall see, if our current dealings regarding a joint production right in UAE will be succesfull.

16 new vehicles in Holland
The Dutch market brought us for this year an order for 16 ambulances on the VW T5 chassis. Together we have already supplied 8 ambulances on VW and MB chassis in Holland.

Ambulance cars for Great Britain
The U.K. is another country, where we have a new partner, who bought in the last year the first ambulance for demo purposes. The vehicle is already under continuous operation and we are preparing with our customer the contract for sale of our ambulances in the U.K. It is concerned the types A2 and B, eventually special vehicles for handicapped.
Certification in compliance with EN1789
We have finished the testing of ambulance cars in the DEKRA Certification s.r.o, in compliance with the European Standard EN 1789 and the notice of Health Ministry No. 201/2010. The tests were not easy at all, because the testing procedure wasn’t uniquely clear predefined, but at last everything has been cleared up and the measurement protocols are already closed. It does entitle us to issue the COC Certificates and meet the requirements of Czech legislation.

Annual balance sheet 2009
In the year 2009 we have rebuild 156 units of vehicles in total – of it: 110 units in category B ambulance, 29 units in category A ambulance, 7 units in category Randez-vous and 10 units of further vehicles (caravans, police vehicles, internet cafe, vehicles for disabled, mobile laboratories).
It was effected 744 maintenance and service operations in ambulances all over Czech Republic.
The company has developed above all towards to improvement in quality and flexibility to customer’s requirements in rebuild vehicles, in communication with the client about new trends and special requirements. By the means of administrative and process arrangements our company managed to obtain the certificate ČSN EN ISO 14001:2005..
During the year 2009 the company arranged for new 11 job openings, so that at the end of the year 2009 Sicar employed 50 person in total.
We were also participant as a sponsor of various emergency, sports and cultural actions.
In October we achieved the award in public inquiry Vodafone Company of the year 2009 – 3.place in region central-Bohemian, hold by Hospodářské noviny (Economic Gazette).
We hope that the year 2010 will be no less succesfull.

August 2009
In August our company received the certificate ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009 and we meet the standards ČSN EN ISO 14001:2005 – Certificate of environmental management system - EMS. For imagine of the both certificates please click on the above pictures.
May 28th – 31st 2009
13th international competition of Rescue Services was held on this long weekend in Kouty nad Děsnou. The weather was not nice ,but it was stronger examination for the resistance of each Ambulance´s crew . Number of participants in this competition increased again this year. We are honored by this opportunity to participate in this prestigious event and we believe that this year everyone involved enjoyed it. Sicar ´s Ambulance in the country of tulips.
March 29th 2009
Sicar produced and delivered a special Ambulance at the end of last week . This Ambulance will be used for transport of patients over long distances for Netherland´s teaching hospital in Groningen. The ambulance was handed over to the hospital in ceremonial act in the hospital lobby in the presence of the Director of the hospital, the anesthesiologist and the Director-General of Holland MB dealer .Official part of this festive occasion was transmitted by Dutch television . Our company in the Netherland is represented by AMSTRA company, which currently supplies 50% of all ambulances in the Netherlands. Thanks to this cooperation we will try to strengthen our export activities in the Benelux.

February 18th 2009
We gave rise to negotiations between the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Czech Republic and other manufacturers of ambulances in the Czech Republic, including service on the State Standard ČSN EN 1789 dealing with Ambulances vehicles.
Advertising on the vehicle chassis VW Crafter.
Very interesting work is awaiting us in the month of February this year. For advertising agency Quix , we produced promotion and advertising vehicle for the sale and supply of mobile operators. On this project, Sicar participated together with the supplier of furniture-company TRUNA,spol s.r.o. It wasn´t our first vehicle of this type and we hope , that much, similarly interesting projects will come to us.
Romanian contract is completed.
January 15th 2009, we delivered 12 ambulances to Romania. This contract was completed on a total of 47 ambulances on the chassis VW and Mercedes Benz. During the 2 years we have delivered to Romania 197 ambulances.
Scandinavian delegation.
On January 9th 2009 we were honored with visit from Norway. Came to us delegation from control office, which approves the ambulances in service. It's similar to our DEKRA. They visited the workplace DEKRA Klíčany and then our company and production in Masojedy. They noted that our production is at a comparable level with the supplier in Scandinavia and in some cases we have more certified parts separately tested than producers in Scandinavia. Our ambulances are therefore primarily in Norway and we have open door ,because we know that we produce quality comparable to traditional producers in Europe, who supply ambulances to Scandinavia.

VW for Romania
On December 19th 2008 left us last 6 Ambulances produced for Ministry of Internal Affairs in Romania .The file closer had serial number 38.Today we have to produce the rest of 9 Ambulances.
VW T5 to a hospital in Pristina.
Transmission of Ambulance in chassis VW T5 Royal to Hospital Vinohrady Prague as humanitarian aid for the hospital in Pristina forwarded 16.12.2008. It has been our second car, which we went to Pristina.
11 ambulances for the Moravian-Silesia region.
At the upcoming Christmas holidays, we strengthen Moravian-Silesia region of 11 new cars. Two pcs of Mercedes Benz Sprinter, two pcs of Volkswagen T5 2x2, seven pcs of 4 Motion Volkswagen T5.

4 special vehicles to the south of Czech Republic.
In December 2008 we presented 2 vehicles of Skoda Fabia and 2 pcs of Skoda Octavia vehicles for Jihočeský region.

Further 9 Ambulances on MB for Prague .
Sicar forward a further 9 Mercedes ML280 Prague Rescue services. Total 16 pcs of them already left our workshop.

On September 2nd 2008 was established subsidiary SICAR NORDIC AS.
Because we are one of exhibitors in the largest Norwegian rescue symposium during last 3 years and we have already delivered a total of 6 ambulances cars, we established a direct subsidiary company for trading in Scandinavia. Our references are still very positive here and therefore we expect that we will have success in future tenders. We obtained approval for a Ambulance chassis with Mercedes Benz Sprinter van, container on the same chassis, Ford Econoline 350, Ford Transit and VW T5 VAN. All vehicles are equipped with perfect instrumentation, similarly to the Czech demands. On spite of high level of demands and the local climate conditions we adapt our ambulances . This territory requires some other electronic devices than we are used at home.

47 ambulances type "B" in Romania.
Sicar CZ participated in a tender last year to 47 ambulances type "B" in Romania and
He won the tender.
Exhibition of medical equipment in Vietnam.
Sicar participated in the exhibition medical equipment in Vietnam, together with other Czech exhibitors. In this faraway land, the concept of emergency ambulance services and equipment according to European parameters has only a dream. We were not surprised by the interests that of our ambulance, but financial possibilities are still limited to those vehicles. Nevertheless, we hope that over the time we will find a partner who will be able to fitted ambulance in our model. It is a challenge for the future, which will follow.
